In the first of three demonstrations, Scott teaches you how to
combine field studies to create a studio painting. In the following
two demonstrations, he shows you how to approach situations you encounter
when painting en plein air, including “keying in” the painting
correctly with strong shapes and correct values in order to capture your
critical information quickly. Painting titles include “South Park
Summer,” “Warbonnet Rock Fields,” and “Salisbury Sunset.” This
